Unfortunately, our stay was not so good this time. We have booked 6 rooms with business relations. These turned out to be almost all in the old part of the hotel. The rooms were not just old and dated, but also very noisy. Both sounds from the street (such as cars and trams) and sounds from people in the hallway were disturbing. The curtains let in a lot of light and therefore do not blind the rooms. And the tap system of the shower is difficult to adjust to a good temperature. There were only 3 hangers for cloths. Further, the sky bar staff is very cheeky and not nice. However, the restaurant is great! Nice atmosphere, good acoustics, delicious food, beautiful dishes, and excellent service, especially from Nicoletta.

Stayed here with family for 3 nights in early April. We had 2 rooms which were not adjoining to each other. One of the rooms was more spacious and superior to the other. Both rooms were clean and tidy but a bit dated. Our main issue was the noise from nextdoor (not our family). There was a locked internal door adjoining our room with theirs. There was no sound proofing between them. We could hear every movement and sound from the room. We struggled to get to sleep and were also woken very early. We opted for breakfast at the hotel which was very nice, there was something for every palette. We absolutely loved the roof top bar/ restaurant. We didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on that but the bar was pricey but fantastic and worth it. Very atmospheric, offering beautiful views of the city. We had a drink and aperitifs one early evening which we would definitely recommend. We also came back and had a late drink on the terrace. There were heaters and blankets to put over you so that you didn’t get cold. The staff were very nice and attentive too. The hotel is in a great location for accessing the city sites. There’s also a metro station over the road which was handy. We had a lovely time - all things considered, we thought the hotel was overpriced, therefore, we would only give it 3.5 stars.

Book 2 rooms for my family and 2 friends. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that 2 kids ages 2yo and 6yo were not allowed to stay with us in our room even if we paid extra. We were told to book a separate room for the kids because it was the law. However, as long as we pay for the extra room it didn’t matter where the kids stayed. We were very disappointed, but the hotel staff Mark never seemed to care. We were forced to book an extra room because we didn’t have a choice and staff were not willing to work with us. On top of that the AC on both rooms didn’t work, called front desk to get it fix and was told to they were too busy at that moment and could not help us. The rooms can get too loud at night because of the bar in 10th floor stayed in 8th floor. I hoped our experience is just something out of the ordinary because never had this experience at other hotels.

Went to Milano to run Milano Marathon, the start was 500 meters from the hotel, and this hotel was perfect. Booked a Executive Room, who is as I understand i refurbished and a bit newer than the standard rooms, the bed var large and nice and the room has airconditioning wich worked perfectly. There was just one thing, there where plenty of ants especially in the bathroom. We had breakfast included, it was OK.

Everything in this hotel is extra ordinary, from a easy convenient check-in to the wonderful rooms, the convenience of being close to everything but yet in a peaceful location. It is steps away from the best restaurants and touristy sight but yet has the quiet and luxury one desires in a face paced city. The breakfast has everything and anything one could ask for, and is fresh and tasty, coffees are hot, and the pastries are crisp and freshly baked. Nothing is lacking! From the cereals, pastries, delectable smoked salmon, fresh fruit, and wide selection of cheeses, eggs etc- everything including the service is spot on. We arrived in the early afternoon and were greeted by a friendly face, who asked us to return at 3, but also told us about the well kept secret of the “resting area” providing a place to freshen up, some hot coffee or tea and cold water- what a treat. This was the start to a great vacation. Our room was out of this world, super comfy bed, lots of cupboard space, great amenities, robes, slippers, and great quality toiletries and even umbrellas. Nothing lacked and every request (we didn’t have many) were accommodate with ease.
